STRENGR Violet Wand Rope – 3/8″

MJOLNIR continuously brings you the most advanced violet wand products available.  This violet wand rope is a 100% braided cotton rope with a stainless steel wire core center.  This means it not only conducts, but provides a built in isolation everywhere along its length so it will not ground out on a person, but will spark continuously.

It is much stronger than plain cotton rope because of its wire core.  Ideal for suspension rigs, electrified slings, hammocks, electrified beds, and for predicament rigs in which electricity provides the punishment.

The 3/8″ is a considerably stiff rope, which makes it less suitable for intricate body harnesses.  The thinner the rope, the easier it is to work.

Any part of this rope can be electrified.  The top can spark to any bitter or fall end and it will travel the standing line to the bottom.  VW current, like all electrical currents, will find the fastest route to ground, thus tend to spark at ‘hot spots’.  Hot spots can be unpredictable, but can be creatively managed using multiple lines to direct the current to spark to where you intend. Your snap clips, rings, bolts and shackles  are conductive and can be used to continue or redirect the current.  Best idea yet:  to rig an old rope bed.

Notes:

Hot spots (where the current is coming off the rope and ‘landing’) should be monitored and checked frequently.

Construction of the stainless steel core boosts output, so be prepared for additional net discharge.

Cotton is flammable, and while this rope is no more flammable than denim jeans when used with a wand, it should never be used in conjunction with violet wand fireplay.

This rope is and advanced toy and is for users who are experienced in both violet wands and rope.

Medical bandage scissors will not cut this rope, so be sure you have an appropriate cutter as part of your contingency plan.
