Loki Cable - A Little Bit More

Is your Loki Cable working properly? As a new and advanced product, you might not be sure what results to expect.

Here are two tests to be sure your LOKI cable is working properly.

 

Both tests remove human or other variables and test just the LOKI cable itself.

Make sure your hands are dry.  If they are damp, dry well and dust with talcum powder for this test.

 

TEST #1.  TESTING THE OUTPUT

  • Insert the plug end of the cable into the wand. 
  • Set the wand down on a non-metal table. 
  • Lay the cable out along the table, making sure it doesn't contact with any metal surfaces such as the table legs.  Stretch out the cable on the table as much as possible.
  • Turn on the wand up to a setting medium high to high.
  • Hold the jack end of the LOKI cable  WITHOUT ANY ATTACHMENTS, toward a metal object.
  • TEST RESULT: You should get a spark size similar to the size of spark that comes straight from your wand, generally 1/2". 

 

TEST #2.  TESTING THE BLEED

 

  • Wear shoes or be on carpeting or a wood floor so you are not providing a path to ground through your body.
  • Plug the loki cable into the wand.
  • Set the wand down on a non-metal table. Stretch out the cable on the table, as much as possible.
  • Make sure the entire length of the cable is not touching anything metal. 
  • At the FAR end of the cable, at the jack end, lay a metal screwdriver or knife blade so that it is barely touching the jack end of the cable.
  • Turn on the wand to medium high-high power. You should see a spark jumping from the jack end to the metal object you provided.
  • Don't pick up the wand and don't touch the wand.  Leave it laying on the table.
  • Make sure you are not contacting metal table legs, etc, with any other part of your body.
  • Using only one dry hand, touch the cable on its vinyl shielding, toward the middle of the cable.  
  • TEST RESULT: You should not feel a spark through the cable.  *98% of people will not feel a spark with this test.

 

If you get these results from these tests, your LOKI cable is fine and working properly.
